Suitable for children in key stage 2 as either classroom learning or provided as an extra-curricular opportunity, for children who want to learn more about saving a life and receiving their Junior First Aider Certificate
The two, 1 hour sessions give children practical opportunity to learn about first aid safety and can be tailored to include a range of the following;
call 999
deal with burns
deal with nosebleeds
support each other
keep calm and control emotions
bad bleeds
deal with choking
check for breathing
learn the recovery position
deal with asthma attacks
deal with allergic reactions
