Celebrating Team New Era at Our Development Day

The New Era team recently came together for a fantastic Development Day at Coldwell Activity Centre — a chance to celebrate our team, reflect on our shared values and recognise the individual strengths that make us who we are.

The day focused on celebrating what makes each member of Team New Era unique and exploring how our different skills, personalities and experiences help us work together to make a positive difference to the people and communities we support.

Through a range of activities, the team had the opportunity to reflect on how we collaborate, how we can continue to support one another and how we can build even stronger connections across our growing organisation. There was also time for some creativity, with team members challenged to draw themselves — revealing some hidden artistic talents (and a few drawings that may not be destined for the gallery!).

The day was filled with plenty of laughter, conversations and team-building activities, including some friendly competition on the crazy golf course, Connect 4 challenges and time to relax together over delicious cake and freshly made pizzas from William’s Event.

A huge thank you goes to one of our Board members for facilitating such an inspiring and engaging day, helping us to celebrate our achievements and focus on the importance of working together as one team.

We would also like to thank everyone at Coldwell Activity Centre for their warm welcome, fantastic facilities and beautiful surroundings, which provided the perfect setting for a day of learning, connecting and celebrating.

Over the past six months, New Era has continued to grow, welcoming new team members and expanding the support we provide across our communities. We are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved together and excited for the opportunities ahead.

At New Era, we believe that when we value every individual, we create a stronger, more connected team — one that is better equipped to support others and make a lasting difference.
